About us
Behind BestValidator — A Passion for Reliability and Open-Source
BestValidator is operated by a single founder with more than 20 years of DevOps and infrastructure engineering experience.
My background spans system administration, large-scale Linux environments, distributed systems, monitoring pipelines, and high-availability architectures — all of which directly power the stability of our Polkadot and Kusama validators.
Over the years, I have designed and maintained mission-critical systems for organizations where uptime, security, and speed are non-negotiable. Running validators is a natural extension of what I’ve always cared about: building stable, transparent, and resilient infrastructure.
I am also active in the open-source community. One of my projects, the
TurboFlakes Exporter (turboflakes-exporter) is a specialized monitoring tool designed for the Polkadot ecosystem:
This tool helps node operators gain deeper insights into validator performance and telemetry — something I use it every day.
Why I run validators
Running validators is more than a service — it’s a commitment to the network's health. I believe in decentralized systems, high-quality infrastructure, and transparency.
Every validator operated under the BestValidator name is maintained with:
Dedicated, hardened hardware
Professional monitoring and alerting
Automated recovery systems
Zero-tolerance policies for downtime and slashing
